Skate 4 Homies is the real deal….

Skateboarding has produced it’s fair share of extraordinary individuals over the years, entrepreneurs, fashion icons, movie stars, world class artists etc… But one of the things that makes me most proud to be called a skateboarder is the amazing humanitarian efforts I’ve been witnessing from skater founder groups across the country. Grind Out Hunger was founded by Danny Keith through the vision of skateboarders helping kids overcome hunger. Boarding for Breast Cancer was founded by Frank Alvarado to help raise money for breast cancer research…. There are many more that deserve recognition and support.

One of the coolest aspects of APSkateboarding.com is finding people in different parts of the country or world, working hard to create a good scene in their community. What's so great about skating(and action sports in general) is the community vibe that ties us all together regardless location, gender, religion etc......
